SOMETHIGN FUN I DID - HOLIDAY POST!

During the weekends my family and I ( Joshua ) was planning to go to the beach,

but guess what she said NO, so we had to stay at home and do the same thing we

do every single day, watching t.v and being bored. Then later that day my Mum

got up and told us “ Guess what we should go and order some Fish n chips and

go and eat it at the Park “ we all replied “ YES!! but I we getting a bottle of fizzy

drink “ then she said “ UMMMM yes we are getting a big bottle of fizzy drink “.

Later on we got up and went and ordered our takeaway and get our bottle of

drink and went to the Park near Dunkirk. When we got there I was like so angry

because there were a lot of people and they were playing and having some fun,

but then we went and got a bench sat down and ate our food. After that we went

and had so much fun, we played moon ball and also we played many more games

that made us so tired and even more hungrier.

Later on the clock hit 5:00pm and we all had to pack up and go back home and do

the same thing sit down on the sofa and watch t.v like always. After that we threw

our rubbish away and got in the car and we went back home.

When we got back home we had to drink water and eat food that our Mother and

Father cook most of the time.

2 Days ago I went with my family to Sylvia park to watch this really cool movie which is called " The Jungle Book ". This movie was about a boy named, Mowgli, who was raised up with a pack of wolves. Mowgli was threatened to be killed by a dangerous tiger, Shere Khan. So, Mowgli decided to leave the pack and find somewhere else to stay. Mowgli, somehow was trapped in a snakes territory, when a bear rescued him and took him to his cave. Mowgli and the bear became really good friends, but the bear told Mowgli that they couldn't be friends anymore.

Today we did a times table test and I got 66/100 I need to learn my timestable. Next time I will try to get 100/100. Today I have done well but need more work!!!

Today I have been reading this book called Police Dog, this book is about a Police Dog that does dangerous things like biting people really hard. On a really hot day Rogue and Constable Jordan. They were relaxing and having so much fun. Al of a sudden they heard his radio thing saying “ 10/9 “ this means that there is something really dangerous had happened. So then Rogue and Jordan ran all the way to Orewa to fix this situation.
When they got to Orewa Rogue ran by himself, found the murder, and bite him on the hand. Then after that Jordan arrested him. After that his Radio came on, 10/9,
that meant that there was something else that was happening.

Narrative Writing - Holiday Post

170 islands altogether but the island we went to was the main island Tongatapu. On
Tuesday the 30th of June my family were travelling to Tongatapu to spend time with
our family.
On our first day we had a spectacular picnic at Pangaimotu Beach. We had to drive to
the Wharf so we can hop on a Ferry and get to Pangaimotu. Once we got to
Pangaimotu we layed out our picnic mat and unpacked our food, what we had was 2
Puakas/Pigs and also we had fish n chips. “ KIDS COME AND EAT “ Mum shouted,
we ignored her because we weren’t hungry. 1 hour later “ JOSHUA CALL THE KIDS
TO COME AND EAT “ Dad shouted, so then we all came out and went to eat before
we can head back to the beach and have a swim. It was 5:00pm “ Kids it is time to go
“ we then replied “ OH WHY “ so then we came out got changed before we head back
home. Once we got home we had to go to sleep because the next day we will be
going to the Common Kings
Concert.
2nd day in Tonga, “ Joshua tell the kids to get changed so we can go to the Common
Kings Concert “ so I ran and told the kids that we have to get changed so we can go
to the Common Kings Concert. 2 hours later we arrived at Teu Faiva Stadium, we got
out our tickets and then gave it to the securities so they can scan it so we can be able
to get in. 30 minutes later the concert started, we were screaming and shouting “
COMMON KINGS IS NUMBER ONE “. The concert started at 7:00pm and it finished
at 3:00pm, when the concert finished we had to head back home so we can go to
sleep because the next day we will be going to town so we can buy t­shirts from the
market.
3rd Day in Tonga, “ Joshua get up we will be going to buy a t­shirt from the market “
so then I got up got changed and then “R­­­­ing R­­­­ing “ went the phone so then I
went and and answered the phone “ Hello? Who is this? Are you taking us to the
Market? Why? “ then I gave the phone to my Mum, when my mum finished talking on
the phone she then told us that a minibus will be coming to take us to Town. When the
minibus approached the house we all hopped in and then the driver took us to Town
so we can start our shopping. When we got to Town we started buying us t­shirt,
shoes and also she bought us food for us to eat. Later on the minibus came back to
take us back home. Once we got back home we had to have dinner and what we had
for dinner was tongan chicken with hot chips. After dinner we had to go to sleep
because today was a long day.
We have spent 3 weeks in the Kingdom of Tonga and during the 3 weeks we visited
different kind of beaches and also visited different kind of markets that sell different
kind of things. We had a fantastic Holiday, we had a wonderful time spending time
with our families that are living in Tonga. I wish I come back to this beautiful island
Tonga!!!

“WAKE UP!” shouted Mum, so then I got up and said “ What do you need Mum?” then she replied “ Hurry up we are going to Maraetai Beach with the family “ so then

I jumped up with excitement because I really wanted to go to the beach because it was really hot.

“ Hey boys do you guys want to come with us to Maraetai beach “ I said softly, then they replied “ YES! “. Few minutes later we all had to pack our swimming togs and get ready for the beach. While I was waiting for the food I went to the living room and observed T.V, suddenly I heard my Dad yell “ HURRY UP GUYS WE ARE GOING “ so then I decided to turn the t.v off and the light off too. Then I walked as fast as I could to the van so that we can zoom off to the beach.

While we were in the car we were singing songs, watching movies, eating the food and also look at the amazing view we can see, and finally we got there. Once we got there what we saw were a bunch of people. After that we had to set up our tent and

lay out of mat. A few minutes later my mum yelled “ GUYS HURRY UP COME AND GRAB SOME FOOD TO EAT!” so then we hopped out from the beach and went to grab some food to eat because we were so hungry. 10 minutes later we all went back to the beach and had so much fun, we were throwing the balls around, we played volleyball and also we had a swimming competition.

When the clock hit 10:00pm we all had to head back home because the next day we will be going to buy some food at town.

HELLO EVERYONE.... I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE MASS AT ST PIUS X PARISH. WE HAD A LOT OF STUFF TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE READINGS AND STUFF LIKE THAT. 3RD RUGBY LEAGUE GAME!!!

TODAY WE HAVE JUST FINISHED PLAYING OUR 3RD RUGBY LEAGUE GAME. WE WERE PLAYING AGAINST MANUKAU RIEBY AND WE SCORED 26 - 36. WE STILL NEED TO WORK HARD ON OUR DEFENCE THAT ALL WE NEED TO WORK ON. WE ALL ENJOYED THE GAME BECAUSE WE ALL GOT A CHANCE TO RUN WITH THE BALL!!

TODAY I HAVE DONE A BASIC FACT TEST AND I GOT 38/40. I NEED TO STILL WORK ON MY SUBTRATIONS AND THATS ITS. I REALLY ENJOYED DOING THIS TEST.

LAST DAY OF THE TERM!!!

TODAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER BECAUSE TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF THE TERM. IN THE MORNING WE AHD A SPECIAL MASS WITH FATHER AND OUR STUDENTS. LATER ON WE AHD 1 HOUR OF WORK UNTIL MORNING TEA.

DURING MORNIGN GECKOES WERE PRACTISING THERE CHEER CHANT FOR THE ATHLETICS IN THE AFTERNOON. ONCE ALL THAT BUSNESS WAS DONE WE ALL AHD TO GO BACK TO OUR CLASSROOMS TO GET READY FOR ATHLETICS.

 A FEW HOURS LATER IT WAS LUNCH TIME, MRS TUI TOLD ALL OF US TO CLEAN UP THE CLASSROOM AND ALSO TO CHANGE INTO OUR COLOURED T-SHIRTS. AFTER THAT WE HAD TO GO AND HAVE OUR LUNCH.

AFTER LUNCH TIME WE HAD OUR ATHLETICS, WE ALL TO HAD TO LINE UP IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY IN OUR GROUPS. WE ALL HAD TO MARCH ALL THE WAY TO OUR TENTS, THEN WE ALL AHD TO SETTLE DOWN.

LATER ON WE HAD OUR RACES, SHOTPUT AND ETC. AFTER ATHLETICS HAD DONE ALL OUR GROUPS HAD TO DO THEIR CHEER CHANT. WE WERE LAST BECAUSE WE WANTED TO HEAR THE OTHER GROUPS SAY THEIRS. ONCE IT GO TO US WE ALL STOOD UP AND SAID OUR CHANT. IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD CHANT BECAUSE WE DIDN'T MUCH AROUDN OR ANYTHING SO THAT WAS PRETTY GOOD.

LATER ON WE ALL HAD TO GO HOME WITH OUT OWN CAREGIVERS.
ONCE I GOT HOME I WAS SO TIRED SO I RAN STRAIGHT TO THE KITCHEN GOT SOMETHING TO EAT AND CAME AND WATCHED T.V.

THIS IS A RECOUNT WRITING!!

What a amazing time I had with my aunties and uncles at the pool in Panmure, on the second of January which was during the holidays.

In the holidays I felt like there was nothing to do at home, one early morning I woke up and went to the living room and observed t.v, suddenly I heard my mum yell “ WE ARE GOING TO THE POOLS! “. So then I decided to turn the t.v and the light. Then I walked as fast as I could to get changed and get ready to go to the pools. While I was getting changed I heard my mum tell the older boys if they want to come to the pools.

Later on we were all ready to go, so then we all hopped into the van and drove off to the pools. While we were driving there I saw the facility of the swimming pool, I was amazed of how huge the pool was. From that moment I knew that it was going to be fun. The van stopped and we all hopped out and entered the facility. The appearance inside the pool was stunning. The entire building was decorated with different kind of things. Moving on we got changed and went into the pool and it

was warm and comfortable to swim in. I enjoyed splashing and racing from the other side to the end.

While we were swimming and having so much fun, we saw this huge slide at the back from the building. Consequently we decided to go on the big slide and swim there and we did. We took a lot of turns sliding down,21 it was amazing. We started swimming from 9:00am - 7:30pm. So then we had to have a break to eat. The food that we brang was so delicious and so healthy for the kids. Following on, we went back into the swimming pool for our last swim just before we head back home.

When we got back home I straight went to sleep because I was so tired and exhausted.
