Matariki!

This Term we have been learning about Matariki. Matariki is a Maori word that can be translated as tiny eyes of God. It is also the name for the Maori New Year and also the Maori name for a group of stars also known as the Pleiades. I have drew the Matariki sunset

SILHOUETTE PAINTING!!!!

This Term Room 7 have been painting a SILHOUETTE of WAR and this picture that I have painted tells me " They shall not grow  old as we are that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them not the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning we will REMEMBER them. The reason why we are doing this because we all need to remember the people who died during the WAR!!!!
