What is a Metaphor?

Smart Footprint

With a Smart Footprint you never use your last name online because people could steal your name. You don’t share your password, you can only tell your parents and guardian, you should never tell your friends.

You should never type your address on your blog because people could come and steal your stuff and follow you to school. You will also have to keep your emails private to yourself because people will go onto your page and write bad stuff to people.

Don’t give anyone personal details because they could use that information. When you are creating a password you don’t put your pets name because they could know your pet.

If you are creating your own password you have to type letters and numbers and use at least characters.

Holes.

This is a story about this boy called Stanley that he lives with his mum. And when he goes to school he gets mean and also his friends gets mean to him as well. The name of this boy is Stanley Yelnats and he is a nice person and also he is clever. Some people in the story a X-ray, Armpit. Sometimes he digs holes. Armpit he said “ Why do they have weird names”. One of them says “ Because Mr Pendanski named us”.

The best part in the story for me is Stanley Yelnats and his last name is Stanley.

I feel happy about the part in the story when he digs holes up to 2 metres deep.

I am wondering how it is going to end.

Hooker's Sea Lions.

You will see the sea lions at the beach, the sea lions mum gives birth to the pups in the middle of December. Pups are baby sea lions, they eat octopus and also they eat fish. They weigh up to 400kg and other sea lions teach them how to swim and find food.

Sea Lions live in Stewart Island and Auckland Island. When there is something wrong they go to their safe tree which are Rata trees.

Females live in large sociable groups. Female sea lions have lighter coats than males. Some sea lions will be killed by sharks each December, those who survive return to Auckland Island.

Sea Lion’s change colour as they grow up, they change from brown to blackish brown. Once they were hunted for oil, but killing sea lions is now against the law.

Soul Friend

My soul friend is Malakai and he is 7 years old and he is in Rm 4. His favourite subject is maths because he likes to addition and subtraction. His favourite colour is gold because he likes to go to the shop and buy something with one dollar. His favourite thing in school is to go to the library because he likes to sit and read to another person.

Soul Friend is support others, guide others, encourage others, listen to each other.

Triathlon.

A Triathlon is an event that involves swimming, biking and the running. You will have to practise to get fit and ready for the events swimming, biking and running. You could ask your coach to help you to keep healthy and fit. The rules for a Triathlon is to not ride your bike in the Transition, not to cheat and if you do you have a penalty that means you have to wait for 10 seconds while everyone else moves on. The most important rule is to not push another person off their bike and don’t rush. I hope that some people would keep fit and healthy.
